WASHINGTON – The Countrywide Affiliation of Realtors® (NAR) launched the American Home Proprietors Alliance, a nonprofit, nonpartisan group that will advocate for tens of millions of house proprietors throughout the state on federal legislation, policies and rules that influence ownership.

“The Alliance is the new amplified voice of nearly seventy nine million house proprietors throughout the state who want a say in Washington on significant challenges,” states Kevin Sears, director and treasurer of the APOA. “We’re a numerous group that is prepared to be a force in Washington.”

NAR primarily cash the alliance, but it will run independently with its own board of administrators and independent bylaws.

Part of APOA’s key mission is to hold house proprietors informed of federal legislative and regulatory challenges that influence ownership. It handles ownership of all house – regardless if households, land, and industrial authentic estate. APOA is concentrated exclusively on the federal level.

“Property ownership is essential to powerful communities throughout the state,” Sears reported in a statement. “The Alliance will foster and defend house ownership in communities by educating house proprietors about federal challenges and mobilizing advocates throughout the United States to safe people rights and passions.”
